PRIVACY POLICY

Bezoku Limited ("we") is incorporated in Canada and operates the Bezoku Grammar
app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the EU
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Canada's Personal Information
Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. WHAT WE COLLECT
- Account data (only if you create an account): your email address and a securely
  hashed password. A display name if you choose to set one.
- Purchases: a payment reference. Card details are handled by our payment provider
  and never reach us.
- Contributions (opt-in): the sentences and corrections you submit are stored as
  linguistic data (CoNLL-U) without account-identifying personal data. Please do
  not enter personal information into contributions.
The core learning features (drills, dictionary, analysis) work fully offline and
do not require an account or any data collection.

2. WHY WE PROCESS IT (LEGAL BASIS)
- To provide the service you request (contract): accounts, sync, purchases.
- With your consent: optional contributions and, where applicable, contextual,
  privacy-preserving advertising. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the service secure and functioning.

3. DATA RESIDENCY
Your account data is stored in the region you select at sign-up (for example the
EU for GDPR, or Canada for PIPEDA), on infrastructure we control. Contribution
data is kept separate from account data.

4. SHARING
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with processors needed to
run the service (for example our payment provider), under appropriate agreements.

5. RETENTION
We keep account data for as long as your account exists. Contribution data, once
submitted, may be retained and used to improve and train our models under the EULA.

6. YOUR RIGHTS
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion
of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and
request portability. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

7. SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (including transport
encryption and hashed passwords) to protect your data. No system is perfectly
secure.

8. CHILDREN
The App is not directed at children under the age required for consent in your
jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
